Xero strongly recommends that you use the “2 step authentication” process to add an extra security layer to your accounting information. It’s the system used by many internet banking & online services – a code is generated in your mobile phone & you enter it when you’re logging into xero. It’s as easy as that! GST Filing through Xero – the challenges!
The IRD is updating its software. All changes result in challenges & frustrations! We and Xero are aware that some of us are having serious hiccups when trying to file our GST Returns. If you’re having trouble, please don’t throw your computer out the window! Just call us – we’ll file your return for you – no charge. We’ll do this for you until Xero and IRD have sorted their communication issues.
